Obituary for Roger F. Baker

Retired Funeral Director and Former Owner of the now known as Baker, Osinski, Kensinger Funeral Home

Roger F. Baker, age 84, passed away on April 16, 2020, at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Baker (nee Scanlon), dear stepfather of Michele Norton (Dan) and Jill Turske; cherished grandfather of Danielle Norton and Michaela Norton. Dear brother of Richard Baker and Marilyn Mellon, uncle and friend to many. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Eleanor Baker and brother, Wesley Baker, Jr. Roger was born and raised in Berea, Ohio. He was a graduate of Berea High (1954), Baldwin-Wallace College (1959) and Mortuary School (Pittsburgh). He spent his entire career at Baker Funeral Home in Berea, Ohio, until his retirement to Florida in 1997. He was a longtime member of the Berea Elks BPOE #1815 and Columbia Hills Country Club. Due to current circumstances, interment will be private at Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Hts., Ohio.
