Ralph T. Simpson

OFDA received word Ralph T. Simpson, age 67, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Simpson was the father-in-law of funeral director, Benjamin White Jr. of C.D. White & Son Funeral Home, Columbus.

A graduate of East High School, he attended Aenon Bible College and was employed by Pierce Brothers Dry Cleaners. Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Edna Lou Simpson, siblings Roosevelt, James, Samuel Jr., Charles, Bert, O'Dell Simpson and Edna Wilson. Survived by wife of 32 years, Lula Simpson; sons, Marlus (Katrina) Wesley, Ralph Simpson (Tasha Phillips), Jeffrey Simpson; daughters, Roxanne (Ron) Ross, Stephanie Simpson and Latonya (Benjamin) White Jr.; brothers, John (Portia) and Donald Simpson; sisters, Violet Young and Daisy Dure; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers-in-law; 4 sisters-in-law; host of relatives, friends and church family.

Funeral Service was held Thursday, January 15, 2009. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by C.D. White & Son Funeral Home, 1217 Mt.Vernon Avenue, Columbus.
