Helen E. Waite

OFDA received notification that Helen E. Waite, age 90, a lifetime resident of Fairport Harbor died Monday, October 6 at Golden Leaf Assisted Living in Madison.

Mrs. Waite was born July 26, 1918 in Fairport Harbor. She was a graduate of Fairport Harding High School; a member of St. Anthony Church and had retired from Uniroyal Corp where she was a secretary for many years.

Mrs. Waite was the mother of Robert N. (Frances) Waite of Concord, Brian C. (Jane) Waite of Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home in Painesville and Deborah E. (Ford) Behm of the Behm Family Funeral Home in Geneva. Grandchildren are Gregory (Jackie) Waite of KY; Gary (Sue) Waite of Willoughby; Dennis (Angie) Waite of Willoughby Hills; Melissa Waite of Painesville; Rick (Fiance Nikki Carlin) Waite of Euclid; Diane (Brad) Stead of Painesville; Bridget (Jerry) Cook of Euclid; Jennifer (Jim) Barkley of Mentor; Peter (Valerie) Waite of Painesville; Stephen (Erin) Waite of Willoughby; Trevor (Julie) Behm of Madison and Courtney Behm of Mentor. Also survived by 18 Great-Grandchildren; Brother: Stephen (Betty) Magyar of Leroy; Sisters: Irene Chiappone of Perry; Theresa Fisher of Painesville and Sister-in-Law; Ann Magyar of Painesville.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harrison H. Waite in 1990; Parents: Nicholas and Elizabeth (Czap) Magyar; Brothers: Anthony, John, Nicholas, and Rev. Joseph Magyar; Sisters: Elizabeth Molnar, Ann Kinkelaar, and Marie Beres.
