Notification of Death - Golda E. Jones McGaughy

OFDA received word this morning about the death of Golda E. (Jones) McGaughy, 88, of Byesville, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Beckett House in New Concord, Ohio. Mrs. McGaughy along with her husband, operated the McGaughy Funeral Home in Byesville, for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, five brothers and one sister.

Surviving are one son, Robert C. McGaughy II, Byesville; one daughter, Sandy (Bill) Black of Senecaville; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation and services were held at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home Byesville, on Friday, June 30, 2006. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
