Gompf Funeral Service, a family owned funeral home is currently seeking an apprentice or licensed funeral director/embalmer. Gompf Funeral Service serves several small communities in Morrow, Crawford, and Richland counties across multiple locations. Applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. Professional business appearance and attire is expected. Day-to-day responsibilities would include all aspects of funeral service. • On call removals (able to lift 75lbs+) • Arrangement conferences with families • Directing a funeral service • Embalming • Dressing • Casketing • Cosmetics • Rotating on call schedule, flexible hours for arranged time off.
